Do I need EPA certification to buy?
Yes. Sales of HFC and HCFC refrigerants are restricted to EPA Section 608 or 609 certified technicians and businesses. Upload your certificate once at checkout and it stays on file for every future order.
How do refrigerants ship?
Refrigerants are DOT-regulated hazardous materials, so they travel by LTL freight rather than parcel carriers. We book the freight, supply the shipping papers and send tracking as soon as the pallet leaves the dock.
What is the difference between a cylinder and a pallet order?
A cylinder is a single disposable or recovery tank. Quarter pallets hold 10 cylinders, half pallets 20 and full pallets 40. Pallet quantities carry tiered trade pricing and ship on one bill of lading.
Which refrigerant replaces R-22?
R-407C and R-422D are common retrofit options for existing R-22 systems, while new equipment typically runs R-410A or the lower-GWP R-454B. We can advise on oil compatibility and charge adjustment before you order.
